We’ve got a great opportunity to join the growing team at our leading innovator of revolutionary healthcare equipment client in West Sussex.

Learning from and working with a friendly bunch of writers, you’ll be collaborating with all areas of the business, as well as third party suppliers, to create and update technical documentation to support their ground-breaking products. You’ll also support the development and implementation of new practices, tools and techniques to encourage a highly innovative approach to technical documentation.

Previous experience as a technical author is not essential, but the ability and enthusiasm to document complex technical subjects are.

You’ll need:

A genuine interest in starting a career as a technical writer, with demonstrable experience in writing.
A good degree – ideally in a scientific, software, life sciences, engineering or medical subject.
To be technically minded and keen to write a range of user and instructional documentation.
Ideally, some knowledge of Microsoft Office, HTML, CSS, or XML.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand highly complex technical ideas and explain them in simple, clear and concise terms.
